My current series is “The Rural Life”. I am exploring the area around me which is slowly contracting and disappearing. Small towns in the Midwest face challenges as populations shrink for a variety of reasons. Although there are many challenges, there is little change. My goal in this series to capture these timeless scenes that are familiar to anyone with a small town in their past.
I will also continue to photograph the amazing Prairie Skies, which still hold me spellbound. Each day could bring a blue vista or a storm, a day could end with a stunning sunset or a clear night for astrophotography.
