This series showcases a number of old toys that I have picked up in Nebraska at various yard sales and auctions. One common theme is that these toys were USED – likely by generations of children who played with them well after the paint wore off. I think it’s a testament to the people of the area that they kept these toys in the family for many years, and the kids appreciated what they had. They wore the paint off, but the wheels are still attached! Work hard, play hard.
