For the longest time I didn’t understand the popularity of birds in photography. Then one day in Florida I ‘shot’ a heron and was hooked. My photography has also grown into a deep respect for these feathered guys and gulls. Now that I live in Nebraska, I’m close to some amazing migrations that I try to capture each year. I also shoot in the backyard and love to get back to Florida any chance that I get.
